Living an ART filled life...“Creativity is a God-given ability to take something ordinary and make it into something special. It is an openness to doing old things new ways…The creative spirit is part of our heritage as children of the One who created all things. And nurturing our creativity is part of our responsibility as stewards of God’s good gifts.” - Emilie Barnes, The Spirit of Loveline

Peace

Hello! I want to welcome all you sweet new followers!

It is a huge blessing to me to know that I can be a help to you in your journaling adventure:)  I am encouraged to hear from you and LOVE to see what you are doing in your journals and Bibles!

Creating a visual in remembrance of the truth God is revealing to your heart not only increases the impact and connection for you personally, but as you journal, you are leaving a spiritual legacy to your family and friends & a memorial to the Father.

Today’s Doodle comes from my continued time in Jennie Allen’s study, Restless.

We aren’t always loving the place we are in…whether it is a specific location, or a season of trial.  As we look at Joseph’s life, we see that He did great things wherever he was…even from prison, he used his gifts for God’s glory…and God gave him peace there in that obedience.

What if you used your gifts, right where you are…even in the fire?

“If we each played our part, from Africa to Dallas, we would get to heaven and know that in our little place, we were part of something too big to ever conceive of while we were here.”

“Because, you know, we aren’t really in our true “place” yet.  The place we were made for is coming; no place feels quite right until we are home.”

-Jennie Allen

There is peace for you faithful one…whatever place you find yourself in…look up, instead of in and you will know it…and even better…God will give you the strength and the wisdom to make a difference there.

God will guard your heart in the furnace, and you will be safe with Him…even through the pain. It’s too big for us to comprehend.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” -Phil 4:6-7

Blessings,
