Living an ART filled life...“Creativity is a God-given ability to take something ordinary and make it into something special. It is an openness to doing old things new ways…The creative spirit is part of our heritage as children of the One who created all things. And nurturing our creativity is part of our responsibility as stewards of God’s good gifts.” - Emilie Barnes, The Spirit of Loveline

  • I am thankful that my sister Toni Stacey Simpson gave me some Zig pens/ colored pencils, and other assorted pens today out of her abundant stash. I am also thankful we were able to spend some time crafting today. I spent most of my time there working on a sketch from a tutorial from Doodle 101 at 1Arthouse. Tonight I was able to use my zig pen to outline my sketch. Not sure yet what I will use for adding color. This is my 1st image to post on any Bible Journaling Group, and I am a member of several. Hopefully this will break the ice for me so to speak and I will continue to share my creativity through Bible art journaling.

    • Susan, what a blessing that you are close and can spend time with your sister in this way!!! Thank you for encouraging me today:) It thrills me to know that my doodles have helped someone step out of their comfort zone to a “new place” Blessings to you and your sister!
