I love to use stencils…they are so versatile…mixed media, journaling, baking, fabric painting, and all kinds of home decor projects.
I don’t know about you, but we have so many close friends of the family graduating from High School this year and buying that many gifts can really add up…so I like to try to find affordable keepsakes and spend a little extra time (instead of money) to make them look special. I love getting a gift wrapped with extra care…you somehow feel even more loved;)
These cute little brown kraft boxes were left over from my daughter’s wedding. I bought them in bulk, knowing I would be able to use them for gifts in the future. The tops come flat, so they are perfect for stenciling and then once dry, ready to fold. It allows the stenciled design to wrap over the edges which I love.
I used Super Heavy Gesso (see below)
The Stencil is from my favorite resource…
I purchased these cute little gift boxes at Paper Mart.
The possibilities are endless with so many stencil designs to choose from!
